About Me
I have always had a love for writing and literature. However, as I grew older, I didn't know how to channel it. I knew I didn't want to be an author, but I wanted to be involved in the publishing process. As I progressed through my major in college (Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies), I discovered editing and publishing classes. This spurred my passion for editing.

I have been able to develop my editing sense through courses such as editing English prose, publishing, style for writers, and more. Additionally, during my Spring 2024 semester I began my internship with The Canelands magazine. Through this internship, I have worked on manuscripts of 1,700-5,000 words, participating in their developmental editing, copyediting, and proofing. I have also been able to learn so much about the publishing process as this is the magazine's inaugural issue. I am excited to expand on these skills as an in-house editor!
